Last weeks of rehearsal!!!

Well as of today-- the piece is finished! 6:19. I am not yet satisfied with the outcome.. We will continue working next week on the ending and finding nuances throughout the piece. note: video is filmed from the left angle.. and music is still being edited. Enjoy!

We are slowly nearing the end.. The piece is exactly 6:00 minutes right now. The end will follow immediately after this--- so be prepared! There are still many changes and nuances that need to be added throughout the piece, but we are almost there :)

We are continuing to develop the phrases, and are adding new material. We tried a couple of improvisations that did not turn out to be very effective. We will continue working on a beginning to bring in the dancers holding hands.

First day on the Job

What an incrediby successful first rehearsal! Take a look at the videos below to see all the fun we had. I played around with two phrases I created - I had the dancers manipulate them with the help of an improvisation. Thanks to all my beautiful dancers for such a productive first day!!
